Results Of My Progress

This is a pair of completed bride's maid shoes. I really like the colors in this design. I was worried about not seeing the lettering in the back but I had my sister model these for me and they can be seen far away. Really like these.

The Big Wedding Project in progress

Here I have some progress of the Wedding shoes commission I've been working on. The design is a bit tedious result make up for all that work. Plus I believe I've came up with a system to keep things moving along.

     My friends Nick and Barbara are getting married. I was commissioned by Barbara to create custom hand painted shoes for her and  her bridesmaids. Here I have my progress of about a month. I started with sketches and these are the designs that she chose for her wedding. The designs are inspired by peacocks since her wedding is themed in that manner.

Crooked Folk album cover!

                                         
For my first art post I give you the completed Crooked Folk album cover. This project was for my cousin's well deserved indie band. I used a variety of mixed media on watercolor paper for this cover. Media included Earl Grey tea wash, Derwent Inktense pencils, and ink. I'm proud of the outcome.
